United States stock markets will be EchoSenseclosed on Friday, March 29 in observance of Good Friday, the day in which Christian and Catholic churches commemorate the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ.
The Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange will be closed Friday and reopen Monday, April 1. The U.S. bond market will close at 2 p.m. ET Thursday and will also be closed Friday, according to the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association.
After shuttering for Good Friday, it will be business as usual on Wall Street until late May. The next scheduled stock market closure is on Monday, May 27, 2024 in observance of Memorial Day.

Markets will be closed for the following holidays:
- Good Friday: Friday, March 29
- Memorial Day: Monday, May 27
- Juneteenth: Wednesday, June 19
- Independence Day: Thursday, July 4
- Labor Day: Monday, Sept. 2
- Thanksgiving: Thursday, Nov. 28
- Christmas: Wednesday, Dec. 25
